Personal Healing – Inner Wounds, Illness, or Other Challenges

A journey in discipleship means that the Holy Spirit transforms and purifies us, so we can bear the fruit that the Spirit produces within us and be shaped into the image of Jesus Christ. For many, this is a healthy and steady process, well-contained within the weekly mentoring hours; however, for others, deeper inner layers are revealed that may require further conversation.

Others join the Discipleship School with a specific desire to work through low self-esteem, inner wounds, early trauma, illness, or other obstacles that prevent them from living life freely.

If you reside at the Discipleship School, we are happy to support you in the process of finding healing or strength in Christ. Part of working for the Kingdom of God is also building up the spiritual temple that each of us represents. Therefore, whether it is a small matter, serious trauma, or chronic illness, the Discipleship School is here to help you on your journey.

We possess the education, spiritual gifts, and experience to support people in growing and flourishing. We do not offer medical treatment, but rather personal counseling, intercessory prayer, and tools to seek healing in Christ.

As a resident of the Discipleship School, you have the opportunity for weekly personal sessions and individual guidance, which are included in the price.

Diary, Work-out and Creation

If you are in need of personal healing, the Discipleship School requires an extra effort from you. You must be willing to work through your challenges.

This can take many forms and involve various individual tools—ranging from journaling to creative expression, songwriting or poetry, storytelling, or walks.

There are many opportunities at the House of Opportunities, but you must be prepared to put in the effort."

Has Life gone wrong?

Do you have the feeling that you have run out of options? Do you feel that the world has no room for you, or that society has given up?

If you don’t know where to turn, but you know you desire a change, we have a few places that might be right for you.

Breaking out of habit and breaking the cycle is incredibly tough, so it requires that YOU are willing to take up the fight. Jesus has said that whoever comes to Him, He will never drive away, and He has all the power to help you. However, it requires that you let Him transform you, and it requires that you put in the effort yourself.

We are happy to help you on your journey."
